We had a great time Saturday evening being on Acres of Diamonds with Dave and Al at WHAT-1340AM. They are really enthusiastic about the She Devils and made us feel right at home. It was a great opportunity to get the word out about our league to a new audience and we look forward to seeing them at our events. We're happy to say that they made fans of us and we'll be listening in to their show every Saturday night!

The Penn Jersey She Devils are hosting the first "Girls on Wheels" Trivia Night at Lucy's Hat Shop, 247 Market Street, Philadelphia, starting at 7:30 PM!
$10.00 at the door will get you an hour open bar from 7:30 till 8:30 PM, then you can sit back and have some fun playing trivia and maybe even win some great prizes. Our Penn Jersey She Devils rollergirls will be out in force to introduce themselves and between games you'll be entertained by our great guest DJ's!

Special Parking Information:
There is a garage in Olde City where you can park for just $1.00 on Wednesday nights! It's called the Autopark at Olde City, 125 South 2nd Street (2nd and Sansom). It's next to the Ritz Theatre East. (They don't have signs up advertising the special Wednesday night rate, it's one of the best kept Wednesday night secrets in Philly, so go ahead and park there!).

Philly's own, Combat Zone Wrestling, held it's Best of the Best event on Saturday night, May 14. Of course, where ever you find hard hitting action like this, you usually find some of the Penn Jersey She Devils!

Here's part of our crew at our table, where we showed roller derby tapes, handed out info on our upcoming fund raising events, gave out recruitment kits and, most importantly, listened to the enthusiastic response from fans to bringing REAL roller derby action back home to Philly!
Speaking of action, not only did our ladies enjoy the high-flying, hard slamming action in the ring, at halftime they gave the crowd a little taste of just what REAL roller derby action is all about!

NBC-TV News...
local affiliate in Philadelphia, WCAU, Channel 10, is airing a segment about the revival of roller derby in Philadelphia tonight at 11:00 PM, so if you are within their broadcast area, please tune in and see your She Devils in action at a training session, interviews with the skaters and coaches and, if it didn't break the camera, me and Ken!
We're very excited about this opportunity to spread the word about our efforts to bring REAL roller derby back home to Philly where it belongs!
